Police clear car drivers who violated Punjab CM Maryam’s route

As many as three vehicles suddenly appeared on the route of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that the vehicles entered the chief minister’s route near Ashiana Interchange on Ring Road while she was heading from Jati Umra to the airport.
Ring Road Police rounded up three vehicles and challaned their drivers.
Later the drivers were turned into the police, which interrogated them and cleared them.
Sources informed that the vehicles entered the route because the interchange was not completely closed.
On the other hand, Ring Road police have launched an inquiry against the patrolling officers who were found negligent.
