Govt decides to fill 1,000 vacant posts at Punjab Prisons Department

The authorities on Friday approved recruitment to 1,000 vacant posts in the Punjab Prisons Department. 

There are more than 5,000 vacant posts in the Punjab Prisons Department, but the government has decided to fill just 1,000 posts of grade 1 to grade 11 for now. Initially, the Prisons Department will recruit paramedical staff, waders and other staff.
