PM heads meeting on measures to counter opposition campaign

Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday presided over a meeting to mull over measures to counter the opposition’s campaign.
The meeting also took up the matter of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif’s return from London and the key figures of the ruling party were tasked to expose the leadership of the opposition parties.
Addressing the meeting, the premier said enemies of Pakistan are backing Nawaz Sharif.
He said the civil and military leadership are on the same page and there is no tension between the civil and military leadership.
The army has been backing the state organs under the law and the Constitution, he said and took a swipe at the ex-PM.
He questioned double standards of Nawaz Sharif as, according to Imran, Nawaz wants people of Pakistan on roads while his own children staying in London. All the key figures including PM aides attended the meeting.
