Office Head of BHC Lahore calls on Ch Shujat

Office Head of British High Commission (BHC) Lahore Ms Clara Strandho called on Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) President and former premier Chaudhry Shujat Hussain at his residence in Lahore on Monday.
The senior leader of the PML-Q Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Javed Akhtar Chatta, Rana Khalid, PML-Q Norway President Muhammad Razzaq and Political Advisor of BHC Lahore Talal Raza were also present in the meeting.
The PML-Q leaders also expressed their condolences to Clara Strandage on the death of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
In the meeting, the development of mutual relations between the two countries, the current domestic and international political situation and other matters of mutual interest were also discussed. 
Ch Shujat expressed his gratitude for the British assistance in the flood-affected areas. He said that there are deep friendly relations between Pakistan and Great Britain which are getting stronger day by day as evidenced by the recent visit of the England cricket team to Pakistan, this will also pave the way for the arrival of teams from other countries to Pakistan. 
Ms Clara Strandhoj said that Pakistan is currently facing a flood situation for which aid is being sent by both the UK government and the people.
