Transgender to serve in federal capital police

The transgender persons will also serve as officers in the federal police, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday 

For this purpose, applications have been invited. In an ad, recruitment to the federal capital police for 1668 slots has been released.

Applications were invited from transgender persons according to the gender written on the National Identity Card

As per the provisions of the Transgender Act, the candidate can also apply self-acquired gender identity.

Recruitment of transgender candidates will be done on general merit, a police spokesperson.

Matric certificate holders must get through all the tests.
