Government and opposition senators have exchanged words in the upper house of the parliament during a debate.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the Senate took up the bill to revert Pakistan Medical Commission to PMDC.

Senator Dilawar Khan demanded referring the PMDC bill to the committee.

The senators from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tore the draft copies. Dr Shehzad Waseem too registered his protest.

The PTI lawmakers stood up and started sloganeering disapproving of the move. They besieged the dice of the Senate chairman.
