Dua Lipa brushes off injury fears as she returns to stage in Dallas
Dua Lipa has reassured fans as she resumed her Radical Optimism Tour in Dallas, just days after concerns emerged about a shoulder injury that reportedly required medical attention.
The Levitating hitmaker, 30, delivered an electrifying performance at the American Airlines Center, stunning the crowd in a series of bold looks, including a shimmering gold bodysuit and a chic pink lace ensemble.
Her return came after fans noticed dark bruises on her shoulder during a recent appearance, sparking speculation about a possible injury. According to reports, Dua was examined by a radiologist earlier this week, and has since been given the all-clear to continue her US tour.
A source told The Sun that the injury occurred during “downtime” and, while painful, it was not serious. “The tour will still go ahead as planned,” the insider added. “It’s just one of those things that happens when you’re constantly on the move.”
On stage, Dua appeared unfazed as she delivered a powerhouse performance, joined by American singer Leon Bridges for a soulful rendition of Beyond. Fans praised her for maintaining high energy despite her recent health scare.
After completing her shows in Dallas, Dua is scheduled to perform in California, with multiple sold-out nights at the Kia Forum beginning October 4.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Dua and her fiancé Callum Turner are reportedly house-hunting for a £9 million retreat in southern Spain. The couple, who confirmed their engagement in June, are said to be looking for a quiet villa in Marbella or Andalucia to enjoy time away from the spotlight.
In addition to wedding preparations, the pair have also ventured into the entertainment business together, co-founding a new production company called TwentyTwo Films Limited, focusing on film and TV projects.
