Seven Indian-sponsored terrorists eliminated in Sherani firefight

Security forces personnel have eliminated seven Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intense firefight in Sherani District of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement released on Friday, on 01 October 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Sherani District of Balochistan on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al-Khwarij.

During the conduct of operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange of fire, seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, the ISPR statement said.

Sanitization operation was conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country, and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of terrorism to justice.

On 30 September and 1 October 2025, 13 terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan.

An intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in Quetta District on reported presence of terrorists. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged them and after an intense fire exchange, 10 Indian-sponsored Khwarij were eliminated.

In another intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Kech District, terrorist hideout was busted and three Indian-sponsored terrorists were successfully neutralised.

President, PM praise soldiers

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for killing seven terrorists of Indian sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij in Sherani district of Balochistan.     

In their separate statements, they said the government will not let the elements succeed, who want to harm the integrity of Pakistan.

The President said the people and armed forces of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder for the complete eradication of terrorism.

He said the youth who thwarted the designs of anti-state elements are heroes of the nation.

Shehbaz Sharif said the government and the security forces are determined to completely eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country.

Mohsin Naqvi commends security forces

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday lauded the security forces for carrying out a successful operation against Indian-sponsored terrorists in Balochistan.

In a statement issued in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi commended the professional skills and dedication of the forces, saying their timely actions had thwarted the “nefarious designs” of the terrorists.

“I salute the brave soldiers of our security forces,” the interior minister said, adding that their sacrifices and successes were vital in ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan.

He emphasized that the security forces had achieved “significant victories” in the fight against Indian-backed terrorism and assured that operations would continue until the menace was completely eradicated.
