'It is not suitable place for educated people:' Komal Aziz on leaving showbiz

Komal Aziz, a former actress who garnered fame with her remarkable acting in Bharosa Yar Tera and Raaz e Ulfat, has lately made an appearance in Ahmed Ali Butt's podcast session, where she revealed the bitter reason for quitting the showbiz industry four years ago.

"Honestly, the showbiz environment isn’t good for an educated person," she said in the interview session. 

Detailing the reasons for the same, Komal Mir clarified that it was not the delayed payments that had led her to step away from the industry; instead, it was the uncomfortable environment and inhumane working hours that prompted her to quit showbiz.

Komal said that initially, she heard a lot that the showbiz industry was very unsafe and toxic for women, but there was nothing like that.

Komal, who owns her own clothing brand 'Omal by Komal', said that she wanted to be around highly educated people, which she did not find in the Entertainment Industry.

Komal mentioned that poor hygiene, lack of timely meals, and excessive politics on sets have also contributed to her decision.
