Khairpur SSP suspends 79 policemen after public complaints

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) suspended 79 policemen for their continued absence from duty and after receiving a pile of public complaints against them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

These policemen were not marking their attendance on the Point Me Application while the public lodged many complaints against them.

The suspended cops were deputed in Section B Police Station, Section A Police Station, Babar Laoi, Thari, Mirwah, Shah Hussain, Shah Latif, and other police stations.

It is necessary to mention here that Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon introduced the Point Me Application to ensure the attendance of policemen.

SSP Khairpur said that any police official can easily use the Point of Application software. SSP Khairpur said that strict action will be taken against all those cops who are found in violation of official rules and discipline.
