NCCIA arrests another YouTuber for promoting betting apps

The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency arrested another YouTuber for promoting illegal betting apps on YouTube and other social media platforms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

NCCIA arrested YouTuber Mudassir Hassan during action in Lahore.

According to the FIR, the accused promoted ‘Quotex’ and other betting apps on his platforms. 

The spokesperson stated that his phone has been taken into custody and an inquiry has been initiated.

Earlier, NCCIA, initiating a crackdown against YouTubers promoting illegal betting apps had arrested Saad Ur Rehman commonly known as Ducky Bhai and also summoned others including Iqra Kanwal, Rajab Butt, Muhammad Anas Ali and Nadeem Mubarak.
