Sahir Lodhi is scared of the living, not the dead

Sahir Lodhi said that he is scared of the human beings alive and the ones who have passed away do not scare him.

In a podcast with Azlan Shah, Sahir Lodhi said that he often goes to the graveyard at midnight. He added that he is not scared of the dark nor the dead there. He said that he finds himself at peace while in the cemetery.

Azlan Shah hosts a supernatural-themed podcast where he talks about such happenings with his guests. Sahir, being his guest, said that a very close friend of his, with whom he was friends for more than three decades, is buried in the Malir Cantt cemetery. He had lowered him into his grave himself. He also has a photo of his deceased friend and goes to offer prayer at his grave very often.  

He said that he goes at midnight, as that is the only time he gets some time away from his busy schedule. 

Sahir also added that he is not afraid of ghosts. He added that human beings themselves are the scary ghosts and no other being can hurt and harm a human more than a human. We should not be blaming the ghosts. 

Sahir Lodhi is famous TV host and actress Shaista Wahidi's brother. He started off as a Radio show host and then transitioned to hosting with the morning show Chai Time in 2005. He has hosted many morning shows on various TV channels. He also acted in drama serials including Bichrain Gay Abb Kaisay, Tum Meyray Ho, Adhuray Khawab, and Yeh Zindagi hai.

He made his film debut in 2017 with the Pakistani film Raasta. It was also his directorial debut.
