Sindh courts to remain closed on Bhutto's death anniversary

The Sindh High Court has announced a local holiday on April 4 (Tuesday) on account of the martyrdom anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the former prime minister, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to a notification issued by Sindh High Court on Monday, all the courts in the province will remain closed on April 4.
The provincial government also declared April 4 as a public holiday.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was born on January 5, 1928. He was a seasoned politician and formed the Pakistan People’s Party — now being led by his maternal grandson, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari — on November 30, 1967.
He was hanged after a controversial trial on April 4, 1979. The dictator Gen Zia Ul Haq played a pivotal role in his hanging.
