Four dead in Khairpur, Arifwala road accidents

Four people lost their lives and two others seriously injured in two road accidents in Khairpur and Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The first incident took place in Theri area, Babarlu, in Khairpur, when a speedy passenger coach hit two people who were crossing the road. Police said the passenger coach was traveling from Punjab to Karachi.

Two persons who were later identified as Abdul Hameed Mughal and Saifullah Memon died on the spot.

Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies of both persons to the local hospital.

Police arrested the driver along with the coach.

The second road accident took place at Pakpattan Road of Arifwala, in which two people died, and two became seriously injured due to a collision between a car and a tractor trolley.

The dead persons were identified as Javed 35 and Mohammad Ahmad, 20.

After receiving the report, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.

Sources said that two injured persons are in critical condition. The incident occurred due to speeding. The car hit the tractor trolley from the back.
