DG ISPR leads tribute to police martyrs

Pakistan Armed Forces spokesman Major-General Babar Iftikhar on Tuesday, while paying rich tribute to police martyrs, said in line of the duty they have been the first responders to every cry for help and answered every call with purpose and pride.

In a tweet, Maj-General Babar showered praises on the police martyrs.

Opposition Leader in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said, “Police officers and soldiers are the unsung heroes who have rendered sacrifices as first line of defence in war against terrorism. On the Police Martyrs Day, we pay our rich homage to shuhada for their bravery & courage in the line of duty. The nation is eternally indebted to them.”

Rawalpindi Police CPO Ahsan Younas said, “Tribute to the martyrs of Rawalpindi Police, it is a great honour for me to command a force where each and every one of ours is an epitome of bravery, determination and courage".
