Gold price in Pakistan surges to Rs123,900 per tola

Gold prices continued to see a surge in Pakistan as on Tuesday the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs400 per tola, reported 24News HD TV channel.

With this increase, the price for 24-carat gold has reached Rs123,900 per tola. The price of 22-carat gold has reached Rs97,372 per tola per 10-gram.

The price of 10-gram gold with an increase of Rs 343 has reached Rs106,224 at the closing time of the trading.

The price of 10-gram silver has reached Rs1,430.

The surge has also been evident in the international gold market where the price of gold has increased to $1,972.33 per ounce on Tuesday.

Increase in the dollar rate against Pakistani rupee has been playing a key part in the elevation of gold prices.
