Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday praised the sacrifices in the line of the duty while saluting the martyrs of Pakistan Police to mark the Police Martyrs Day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“Pakistan Police has made monumental sacrifices in the line of duty over the years, contributing immensely in bringing peace and stability to the country”, the COAS said in a statement issued by the Pakistan Armed Forces Spokesperson. 

It is pertinent to note that Police Martyrs Day was observed in Islamabad and all the provincial capitals to pay homage to the great sons of the soil who embraced martyrdom to protect the citizens and motherland from evil forces.
