Sanjrani meets newly elected Iranian president, invites to visit Pakistan
Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani Wednesday met with newly elected Iranian President Syed Ebrahim Raisi and congratulated him with an invitation of visiting Pakistan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Sanjrani reached Iran on two days official visit to participate in the Iranian President’s oath-taking ceremony.
Sanjrani held a meeting with Raisi and both the leaders agreed to enhance bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
In the meeting, the Senate chairman also paid thank to the Iranian President for opening six trade routes on the border of Pakistan.
Pakistani and Iranian leaders also discussed the power issues related to the Gwadar and Makran divisions of Balochistan province in Pakistan.
Sanjrani also invited Raisi to visit Pakistan on behalf of the President and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He also appreciated the Iranian leadership for the continued support of the Kashmiri people.
