AirBlue flight fails to depart for Karachi even on 2nd day
An AirBlue flight which was scheduled to depart Lahore for Karachi failed to take off on the given time for second time due to technical reasons on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, AirBlue flight PA-407 was scheduled to take off from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore for Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi yesterday, but the flight was still on the ground till the filing of this report.
A large number of passengers were facing difficulties at the airport due to the delay in flight. Harsh words were also exchanged between the passengers and the administration of the private airline.
It is necessary to mention here that delays and cancellations in flights have become the norm for AirBlue, as its flight PA-201 at Islamabad International Airport was facing a delay of several hours on Saturday.
According to flight schedule, the private airline flight was supposed to depart for Karachi from Islamabad at 7:45 am.
Due to delay, passengers were frustrated over the lack of cooperation from airport staff and repeated changes in departure time.
Moreover, the boarding of AirBlue flight PA-201 has not yet begun.
Passengers complained that Civil Aviation has failed to provide seating facilities to passengers waiting at the airport for hours.
