Khushdil, Haris, Farhan return home as Pakistan ODI squad departs for West Indies
Three members of Pakistan's national T20 squad are set to return home tonight from the United States, while the One Day International (ODI) squad prepares for departure to the Caribbean for their upcoming series against the West Indies, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
As per details, all-rounder Khushdil Shah, fast bowler Haris Rauf, and top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan are among those concluding their overseas duties and flying back to Pakistan. The trio featured in Pakistan’s T20I fixtures and will now take a brief break from international action.
Meanwhile, experienced left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman, who sustained an injury during the tour, will remain in Florida for medical assessments and is scheduled to travel back to Pakistan tomorrow.
In a related development, Pakistan’s 15-member ODI squad is boarding tonight for the West Indies, where they will contest a three-match ODI series starting on August 8.
The squad traveling to the Caribbean comprises a balanced mix of seasoned players and promising youngsters.
Team management is confident that the players will quickly adapt to the West Indian conditions and deliver strong performances.
