Lahore shrouded in smog, experts urge citizens to use masks

The city of Lahore still ranks first among the most polluted cities in the world on Sunday as the atmosphere of the provincial capital of Punjab continues to be shrouded in smog.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 303 while the temperature was 9 to 13 degrees Celsius in Lahore.
The channel report said that the humidity ratio in the air was recorded at 88 percent on Sunday night.
Medical experts have urged the citizens of Lahore city to use masks to avoid smog-related diseases like flu, sore throat, and eye infection.
