A fraudulent young woman belonging to a group of swindlers set on fire her tenth husband and ran away in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The group of the swindlers used to solemnize Nikah of the woman with different men and then the woman would make away with cash and jewellery, leaving the poor husbands in the lurch who did not have any clue about the whereabouts of their wife. 

According to details, Sanaullah solemnized Nikah with Uzma Bibi. But soon after their marriage, the woman quite frequently left the house on the pretext of visiting her mother’s house. 

Sanaullah got suspicious. On inquiry, he got to know that his wife had already contracted 10 Nikahs with other men.

Sana said that all Nikahs were performed by one man, Attaullah and he also knew the stamp paper seller. 

Sana further said that his wife had already solemnized Nikahs in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Lahore, Khamb and several other districts with fake names. He claimed that he could provide videos of all her Nikahs if the need arose. 

Sana said that he registered a complaint against his wife. After registration of the case, his wife Uzma asked him to meet her in Kot Ishaq. When he reached there, two people set him ablaze. 

He alleged that Fahad had doused him with petrol and Shabbir set him to fire. As a result, his entire body was burnt.

He said that police had not registered a case of this incident yet. He called upon the authorities to provide him justice.
