Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan inaugurates media hall in Punjab Assembly

The demand of parliamentary journalists has been fulfilled as Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan inaugurated the newly constructed media hall in the premises of Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Secretary General Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Amir Habib, President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari, senior journalist Maqsood Awan, President Punjab Assembly Press Gallery Committee Khawaja Naseer, General Secretary Adnan Sheikh, Kazim Khan and others were also present on the occasion.

The Punjab Assembly media hall will have a capacity of 100 people.

The new hall will be air-conditioned and in the hall, washrooms and a kitchen have also been built. Rs49 million were spent on the construction of the new state-of-the-art hall. 

In the media hall, press conference stage and camera stage have also been built. Furniture is also provided for journalists to sit.
