Tests were held under the supervision of Pakistan Army and FC KP (South).
Over 1,000 students enthusiastically appeared in the tests, which showed their as well as their parents’ inclination towards education.
The purpose of the exercise is to educate the youth of militancy-hit areas so that they could be weaned away from terrorism.
The COAS Youth Education Scheme is not only meant for the students of the areas affected by militancy, but also for the students of far-flung areas of the country so that they could ensure their better future.
Candidates passing these tests are given free education, residence, food and other facilities.
