The prices of almost everything including essential commodities have been increased in the recent wave of inflation but now it has also hit the ambulance services, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The ambulance service for transporting the dead bodies from hospital to graveyard will now be much more costlier.

The new fare of ambulance per visit in Lahore has been increased from Rs1,500 to Rs2,500 from a hospital to Miani Sahib Graveyard, one of the oldest graveyards in the region.

As per reports, authorities charge between Rs25,000 to 50,000 for burying the dead in twin cities — Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
