The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed to have compiled a comprehensive report about the secret bank accounts of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Pasty (PPP).

The PPP did not shared with the ECP the details of nine accounts in 2013, 11 in 2014 and 10 in 2015 from the election commission, the report said, adding that the party kept millions of rupees secret by the act.

Accoring to the findings, the PML-N hid the details of nine accounts having  more than Rs629,800,000.  Just two accounts were shown on the commission’s inquiry, the findings said, adding that the former ruling party piled up this amount under the heads of donation, party fund, tickets membership fees etc.

The PML-N has a history of suspicious transactions in the name of donation, the data showed..

Reportedly, the details will be provided to the election commission and a request will be made for taking up the cases related to foreign funding cases together and treat them equally as per Article 25 of the Constitution.

Last year, the ECP scrutiny committee got details of the PML-N and the PPP accounts, revealing that the opposition parties kept several of their accounts secret from the polls supervisor.
