UNESCO Report exposes PTI govt’s poor educational policy in Punjab
Government spending only 11 per student in public school; US, Turkey, and India spending 1100, 516, and 55 respectively

UNESCO has released an evaluation report on school education expenditures of different countries and exposed the poor policies of the PTI government in Punjab.
The 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday that UNESCO has revealed that despite tall claims, expenditures on children in Punjab are even lower than in neighbouring India.
According to the UNESCO report, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Punjab was spending only 19 dollars per student per month in government schools.
While the United States (US) was spending about $1,100 per month on official education per student. At the official level in Turkey, around 516 dollars per student were being spent.
The report also shared data of the neighbouring countries of Pakistan and said that India is spending $55 per student per month and Sri Lanka $36 per student.
UNESCO report has been submitted to the Punjab Chief Minister's Office with details of the monthly expenditure of a student at the government level during the PTI regime.
