A video came to fore on social media in which a groom in Arifwala, tired of soaring inflation, went to take his bride while wearing a garland made of onions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

The groom wore onion-garland to record his protest against the skyrocketing prices of basic commodities like onion. 

According to the groom Asif, onion, a daily used household commodity, has crossed the dollar rate. Therefore, he made an onion garland in protest.
