Balochistan imposes Section 144 across province until January 31

The Balochistan Home Department Sunday announced the imposition of Section 144 across the province, effective immediately and set to remain in force until January 31, 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The restrictions include a complete ban on displaying weapons, riding two people on a motorcycle, installing tinted windows on vehicles, and riding unregistered motorcycles. Gatherings of five or more people, sit-ins, processions, and rallies are also prohibited.

Authorities have further ordered that covering the face in public places through mufflers or any other means that obstruct identification is not allowed. The move is part of measures aimed at maintaining law and order throughout the province.
