Nicola Peltz 'grateful' for Brooklyn Beckham after he declares relationship with estranged parents 'over'

Nicola Peltz has publicly rallied around her husband Brooklyn Beckham, expressing gratitude for him just as reports intensified that he has effectively severed ties with his famous parents.

The 30-year-old actress and billionaire heiress used the arrival of the New Year to send a carefully curated and emotionally loaded message on social media, one that appeared to underline where her priorities, and loyalties, now firmly lie amid the ongoing Beckham family fallout.

 

In an Instagram Story shared at the start of the year, Nicola posted a series of personal images featuring the people closest to her, accompanied by the message: "So grateful to start the New Year with these beautiful humans." Brooklyn, 26, was clearly highlighted and tagged, reinforcing the sense that the couple are standing united as tensions with David and Victoria Beckham continue to simmer.

One of the images showed Nicola and Brooklyn in an intimate, sunset-lit moment believed to have been captured in Florida.

The couple stood outdoors surrounded by palm trees beneath a soft orange sky. Brooklyn wore a beige baseball cap turned backwards with a black T-shirt, while Nicola beamed in a cream knit jumper and jeans, clutching an iced coffee as her husband wrapped his arms around her.

The photograph projected ease, closeness and solidarity, sending a strong visual message of togetherness at a time when relations with Brooklyn’s parents appear fractured.

Nicola also tagged several members of her own inner circle, including her brother Bradley, her brother Zach Peltz’s girlfriend Aislinn Carne, and close friends Kenya Jones, Alison Albright and Lovette Candice. The deliberate selection of those included, and excluded, left little doubt about where her emotional focus rested as the New Year began.

In another image from the same location, Nicola shared a group shot featuring herself, Brooklyn and her brother Bradley, further reinforcing that her attention remains firmly on her husband and her chosen family unit.

Adding another layer to the situation, Nicola appears to have disabled comments on her social media posts from the past two days, effectively shutting down public reaction during a highly scrutinized moment.

The timing of her posts coincided with reports claiming Brooklyn has told friends that his relationship with his parents is "over", following months of escalating strain. The rift reportedly deepened after David, 50, and Victoria, 51, were blocked by Brooklyn on Instagram.

While David and Victoria welcomed the New Year quietly at their Cotswolds home, Brooklyn and Nicola ushered in 2026 in South Florida, attending a high-energy party at Miami nightlife venue E11EVEN, where rapper 50 Cent performed live.

David attempted to bridge the divide by sharing nostalgic family content online, including a throwback photo of Brooklyn from his teenage years. However, insiders suggested the gesture did little to soften the situation. Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola appeared carefree, sharing videos and images of themselves dancing, singing and enjoying intimate moments throughout the night, showing no visible signs of emotional strain.

A source told The Mirror: "While things between [Brooklyn] and his parents are over, he is still very fond of his grandparents. There is a lot of love for them, and that has never faltered."

During the festive season, both David’s mother Sandra and Victoria’s mother Jackie Adams reportedly reached out to Brooklyn. Their contact came after his notable absence from several major family occasions throughout the year, including David’s landmark 50th birthday celebration and his long-awaited investiture.

Another source added: "David and Victoria will never give up trying to secure a reconciliation between them and their son. Nothing will change that, and they live in hope. He will always be their son, and they are not going to stop putting on record their feelings."

In his own New Year post, David shared an image of himself with Brooklyn, captioning it: "I love you all so much." The post also featured photos of David alongside sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper, followed by a final image of Victoria with all four of her children, paired with the caption: "You are my life."

Victoria quickly re-shared the image of David and Brooklyn, adding a simple but telling love heart, a quiet gesture of affection amid a family rift that shows no immediate sign of healing.
