Police recovered kidnapped girl after three days in Chilas

Police, with the assistance of residents, recovered a girl after three days, who was kidnapped after the murder of her mother from Chilas, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

The girl was kidnapped from the Thore Brogha area of Chillas. A police team headed by SHO Abdul showed outstanding performance in the recovery of the kidnapped girl.

Police also arrested the sister of the kidnappers, who was accompanying the girl.

Later, the police handed over the girl, identified as Shamim, daughter of Gul Khan, to Superintendent of Police (SP) Diamir.

Police said that the girl will be handed over to her parents tomorrow. Police further revealed that the kidnappers reached a safe location in Gichi area after kidnapping the girl on the same day.

Police said that the kidnappers entered the girl’s house and opened fire, in which her mother died, and three people, including two children, were injured.

The police filed a first information report (FIR) in which six accused individuals were named.
