People had enough to eat in Old Pakistan: Shehbaz Sharif
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has said 'Old Pakistan' was better than 'PTI's New Pakistan' as the people had enough to eat in the past, 24News HD TV channel reported.
Addressing the PDM power show in Swat Sunday, Shehbaz Sharif said the looting spree was on for the last three years of the incumbent government.
“He (Prime Minister ImranKhan) is sitting in the palace of Bani Gala and does not know what’s going on in Quetta, Swat and others parts of the country. He does not care for the poor problems,” said Shehbaz.
He said this is not Pakistan for which our forefathers gave a lot of sacrifices. He said the country was facing the highest inflation of its history.
He said the PTI had wasted billions of rupees during the construction of BRT Peshwar. “If BRT would have been constructed in my leadership, I could have made it much earlier than Lahore's,” he said.
“On behalf of ex-premier Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Democratic Movement, I promise you if we are elected, we will make KP better than Punjab. This is not just a promise, our record proved it, he stressed and added that he had been criticized by Imran Khan for giving laptops to students but now they were benefitting from those laptops.
“Time is ripe to get rid of this government. If you do not oust the government with the power of your vote, then they (the PTI) will destroy the country,” he further said.
“Imran Khan says if the Kashmir issue is resolved, we do not need the atomic programme anymore. It's our defence,” he said.
PDM all set for power show in Swat

Shehbaz Sharif, while leading a rally from Balakot, arrived at the Grassy Ground.
The district administration did not allow the PDM to hold a public campaign due to Covid-19 social restrictions.
