Diddy’s mom breaks silence after verdict  

Sean Diddy Combs may have dodged a life sentence after being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering, but his mother, Janice Combs, says there’s no celebration just yet.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail following Wednesday’s dramatic courtroom verdict in New York, the 80-year-old matriarch remained poised and composed despite the emotional rollercoaster of her son’s high-profile eight-week federal trial.

“It hasn’t been easy, and it’s not over yet,” Janice said quietly, pausing in the courthouse bathroom to fix her lipstick just before the judge announced the decision on bail. “We’re not making any plans, because it’s too soon.”

Diddy, 55, was cleared of the most severe charges, but was convicted on two lesser counts related to prostitution, leaving his legal future uncertain. He was denied bail again and will remain behind bars until his sentencing in October.

Janice, who raised Diddy as a single mother after his father was gunned down when he was just three, has been a constant presence in the courtroom—calm, collected, and quietly defiant in her faith.

“I put all my faith in God,” she said. “The rest of it is just noise.”

While Diddy’s children, including sons Christian and Justin and twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, erupted with emotion after hearing the not-guilty verdicts, Janice kept her composure until she shared a private moment hugging her sister. “Does anyone want to see me faint or collapse? No. And I don’t want to see it myself,” she said with a nod.
