Two dead three injured in road accident in Nankana Sahib

Two people died and two others, including a woman, were seriously injured when a speeding bus collided with a trawler in Nankana Sahib on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV.

The incident took place at the Keharay Kalan Interchange on M-3 Motorway near the rest area. The speedy bus collided with the trawler as the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle.

Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the site and retrieved the dead bodies and shifted them and the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) after providing them first-aid.

The injured persons were later identified as Azha, aged 36, and Tassaduq Hussain, 43. 

The rescue operation was supervised by District Emergency Officer Mohammad Akram Panwar.

The identification of the dead driver and the security guard was yet to be ascertained. The ill-fated bus was going to Alipur from Lahore.
