Two brothers die after eating toxic food in Sindh

Two young brothers have died after reportedly consuming suspected contaminated food in the village of Hayat Gapna near Kunri,  Umerkot district, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

According to the family, the children fell seriously ill shortly after eating dinner and drinking milk on Friday night.

They were rushed to a nearby hospital as their condition rapidly deteriorated.

The victims were identified as 10-year-old Ali Hassan and his 12-year-old brother, Muhammad Hasnain.

Ali Hassan died while undergoing treatment at the Taluka Hospital.

Muhammad Hasnain, who was being shifted to Hyderabad in critical condition for advanced medical care, passed away on the way.

The police officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
