NAB raids former Sindh minister’s house in Karachi

National Accountability Bureau team on Thursday raided former Sindh minister and MQM leader Adil Siddiqui’s residence in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi to arrest him.
The accountability team returned empty handed as the former MQM lawmaker as the team was informed that Adil was out of country.
The NAB team recorded the statements of Adil’s family members and watchman. The watchman told the team that Adil flew abroad few years ago.
Adil wanted to NAB in reference No 6/2020. An accountability court issued non-bailale arrest warrants for the former lawmaker.
Couple of days ago, the NAB Lahore entered Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shahbaz Sharif Model Town residence H-97 to arrest him in a money laundering and income beyond means case.
However, the NAB team has to leave empty-handed as Shahbaz Sharif was not present at his Model Town residence. Consequently, NAB team left for his Jatti Umrah residence to continue the hunt for the opposition leader's arrest.
