Four people died and another eight sustained injuries in a road accident near Kahror Pakka tehsil of South Panjab.

The tragedy took place when a Lahore-bound bus ran over a motorcycle, killing three motorcyclists on the spot.

Sources said the bus overran the motorcycle when the driver tried to save a child cyclist who also lost his life.

Police and rescuers rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to THQ hospital.

 The critically injured were referred to Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital.

The deceased motorcyclists were relatives and going to a local festival.
