List of the candidates who remained successful on reserved seats of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has been issued, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

As many as 34 PPP female candidates have managed to win their seats.  

The candidates are Zaibun Nisa, Tasleem Shabbir, Alia Bano Naz, Malika Naz Yaqoob, Musarrat Niazi, Asma Hassan, Yasmin Butt and others.

Similarly, 29 female candidates of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have been declared successful.

They include Farhana Masood, Farhana Aurangzeb, Talat Yasmin, Nadeema Tasnim and Naseem Rashid. 

Likewise, 14 PTI female candidates have been declared successful.

They include Sanoobar Farhan, Ambreen Malik, Husna Nadeem, Zeba Kashif, Samreen Naz and Shazia Imran.

The JI has grabbed four seats reserved for youth while PTI’s Shahzeb Khalil and Muhammad Faizan have been declared successful on these seats.

PML-N’s Ikhrash Mustafa Rehman has been declared a winner on the seat reserved for youth.  

Similarly, five PPP candidates have emerged victorious on labour seats; JI has won four, and PTI two.

Likewise, five PPP candidates have been declared winners on minority seats, while four JI candidates have remained successful.

Both JI and PPP have won one seat each reserved for members of the transgender community.
