Disillusioned with the PTI’s future after parting of the ways by over 100 party leaders and feeling pressure in the wake of May 9 violence, more and more PTI leaders are quitting the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ayesha Iqbal, ex-PTI member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA), on Sunday announced her decision to bid adieu to the party.

Addressing a press conference, she said she strongly condemned what happened on the ill-fated day. “I am not in favour of politics of violence and bloodshed,” she said, adding, “I only pray to the Almighty Allah for the well-being and prosperity of Pakistan.”
