FIA arrests two women at Karachi airport for travelling fraud

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Unit arrested two women passengers at Karachi Airport who travelled through forged documents, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The female passengers are identified as Umme Kulsoom and Muqaddas Batool, who arrived in Pakistan from Austria via Sharjah on flight G9548.

According to FIA officials, Muqaddas Batool illegally travelled abroad in 2023 from Sialkot Airport using her sister's (Umme Kulsoom) passport.

“A double departure is confirmed on the passport of the woman's sister, Umme Kulsoom,” said officials

Both female passengers were transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further legal action.

Further investigation is underway.
