GHQ attack case hearing to be held at Adiala Jail on Thursday
The hearing of the GHQ attack case will be held on Thursday within the premises of Adiala Jail, under strict security arrangements, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The proceedings will be conducted by Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
According to court sources, the decision to hold the hearing inside Adiala Jail was taken in light of security considerations, given the sensitive nature of the case and the profile of the accused.
The GHQ attack case remains one of the most closely watched trials in recent times due to its implications for national security and the military establishment.
So far, testimonies from 31 witnesses have been officially recorded in the case.
The witnesses include security personnel, forensic experts, and other individuals linked directly or indirectly to the events surrounding the attack.
More testimonies are expected in the upcoming hearings as the prosecution works to establish the full sequence of events and the involvement of the accused.
