NCCIA sends notice to Aleema Khan for posting anti-state content

Tightening its noose around those posting anti-Pakistan Army content on social media during the Operation Bunyanun Marsoos, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on Wednesday summoned Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, for questioning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In its summons, the NCCIA alleged that Aleema, through her posts against the state institutions, tried to dent the morale of the masses.

The NCCIA has already sending notices after shortlisting over 500 accounts. 

The Agency has also sent notices to the YouTubers, who allegedly indulged in propaganda against the institutions during the operation carried out by the country’s armed forces against India during recent military confrontation.

The NCCIA has said that over 20 YouTubers, associated with the PTI, including Moeed Pirzada and Aftab Iqbal, had been sent notices.
