Punjab Police arrest seven most wanted fugitives from UAE 

Punjab Police claimed that seven most wanted fugitives involved in dozens of serious crimes including murder, extortion and robberies, have been arrested from UAE and being brought back, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Punjab Police issued a red notice from Interpol for the arrests of the fugitives. The UAE police handed over the accused to the Punjab police team on Tuesday. 

A spokesperson of Punjab Police said that a team of Punjab Police headed by Inspector Khalid Wariah will leave for Pakistan from Sharjah and reach Lahore Airport tonight. 

So far this year 16 criminals were arrested from foreign countries who had escaped their after committing crimes in Pakistan. The fugitive Sufyan Ali was wanted by Gujranwala police in various cases of police encounter, terrorism, murderous attack on policemen. 

Sufyan was wanted by the police in various districts for in 32 cases of terrorism, extortion, robbery, robbery, said the spokesperson of Punjab Police. 

The fugitive Abdul Latif killed his sister-in-law in Rahim Yar Khan in 2023. Zohaib was wanted by Sialkot Police, Mohammad Jalil of DG Khan was wanted in armed robbery incidents. 

Absconder Rameez Ashraf was wanted by the Rawalpindi police in a murder case. The fugitive Akasha Iqbal was wanted by the Sialkot Police in fake visas cases. 

The criminal Mohammad Usman was involved in various cases of issuing bogus cheques in Lahore. 

All these fugitives had escaped to the United Arab Emirates after committing serious crimes in Pakistan. CPO Gujranwala Rana Ayaz and DPO Sialkot have been appreciated by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.
