Rabya Kulsoom condems brands featuring cricketers amid ICC Champions Trophy loss
Pakistani actress Rabya Kulsoom did some brainstorming, and she got to know that Pakistan's loss in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against India had this reason.
Let 24NewsHD tell you that the actress expressed her disappointment, and taking to her Instagram handle, she requested the brand owners to stop featuring the cricketers in the advertisement as it's not their job.
“I would like to request all brands to stop taking these cricketers as their brand faces and let them focus on what they are supposed to do—play cricket”, she wrote.
She urged brands to let the cricketers focus solely on the sport and what their job is.
"Actors ka kaam actors ko karne dain please lekin agar actors ka kaam cricketers se karana hai to phir actors ko team mai daaldain (Let actors do their work, but if the cricketers want to do actors' work, then let actors be in the cricket team)."
Rabya also sarcastically posted that the national team's captaincy could be given to Fahad Mustafa or Faizan Sheikh because that could be fruitful.
"Balkay captaincy @mustafafahad26 ya @mfaizansk ko dedain! Shayad behtar result miljaaye", she wrote.
Rabya's statements went viral on social media in no time and garnered mixed reactions from the cricket fans.
