Federal government issues transfers, appointments in Police Service of Pakistan

The federal government has announced new appointments and transfers involving officers of the Police Service of Pakistan.

According to an official notification issued by the Establishment Division, Salman Chaudhry, a Grade 21 officer awaiting posting in the Establishment Division, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

Abdul Salam, a Grade 20 officer serving in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Government of Sindh.

Similarly, Shaukat Ali Khatian, a Grade 20 officer serving under the Sindh government, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

In other transfers, Lieutenant (retd) Azhar Javed, a Grade 18 officer, has been moved from the FIA to the Government of Punjab, while Captain (retd) Muhammad Furqan Bilal, also a Grade 18 officer, has been transferred from Punjab to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding these postings and transfers.
