Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former MNA (late) Syed Gulzar Subtain’s widow Rahat Hassan is tortured by relatives for the property.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Okara Police registered a case on the complaint of victim Rahat Hassan on Wednesday.
As per the details of the incidents mentioned in the First Information Report (FIR) of the Okara police, former MNA’s elder brother Syed Gulzar Hasnain Shah along with his sons seized the widows’ house.
The FIR said that during occupying the house, the accused tortured and tore the dress of the widow and also seized her belongings.
The widow of Syed Gulzar Sabtain who was the party ticket holder of PTI from constituency NA-143 Okara said in the FIR that she was brutally beaten by her relatives.
She said though the FIR has been registered by the police the provisions that were imposed in it were not relevant to the incident.
