Three vehicles catch fire on motorway, Karachi and Arifwala; one injured

As many as three separate fire incidents involving vehicles were reported on Sunday from different parts of Pakistan, including Karachi, the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, and Arifwala, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to sources, one of the incidents took place on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, where a vehicle suddenly caught fire. Upon receiving the emergency call, a team from the Motorway Police rushed to the scene, quickly brought the fire under control, and managed to rescue all passengers without any injuries, thus averting what could have been a major disaster.
In another alarming incident in the Pakpattan area of Arifwala, a truck loaded with coal caught fire reportedly due to a short-circuit. Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly and managed to douse the flames before the fire could spread further. Their timely action helped prevent damage estimated to be worth millions of rupees.
The third incident occurred on Banaras Bridge in Karachi, where a vehicle abruptly burst into flames. A 24-year-old man, later identified as Nawaz, was seriously injured in the fire. Rescue officials stated that the injured victim was immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
