Babar Azam, Sufyan Muqeem dominate PSL 11 awards night
Pakistan Super League Season 11 concluded with a series of awards recognising standout performers from across the tournament, with batters, bowlers and all-rounders honoured for their contributions, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Babar Azam was named Batter of the Tournament after scoring 588 runs, earning both the Hanif Mohammad Cap and the Golden Bat for his consistent performances throughout the season.
Sufyan Muqeem was the standout bowler of the tournament, claiming 22 wickets and receiving the Fazal Mehmood Cap as well as the Bowler of the Tournament award.
He was also named Player of the Tournament for his all-around impact.
Hunain Shah was awarded Emerging Player of the Tournament for his promising performances, while Asif Yaqoob was named Umpire of the Tournament.
The Spirit of Cricket Award went to Hyderabad Kingsmen in recognition of their sportsmanship during the competition.
Shadab Khan received the All-Rounder of the Tournament award, and Farhan Yousaf was named Fielder of the Tournament.
Michael Bracewell was honoured with the Momentum (Performance) of the Match award for key contributions during the season.
In the final, Aaron Hardie was named Player of the Match for his match-winning all-round performance, which helped Peshawar Zalmi secure the PSL 11 title.
