Sham Chaurasi Gharana’s singer Shujat Ali Khan’s new song video has been well received by fans that showered their love and praise on the singer. The song was released on October 28 and within a few days it has attracted over 884,682 views and 3.9k likes.

Song Daradwa has been composed in a completely new and unique style inspired by Thumri Dadra. Imran Akhter, Baqir Abbas and Asim Rajput composed the song while mixing and mastery was done by Afzal Hussain. Daradwa’s video was directed by Asif Massod.

One of the comments on Daradwa Youtube video was given by Kashif Chauhan. He said: “Superb Shujat, what a performance! You got an amazing voice and it’s always our privilege to listen to you. Such a melodious song and voice and the way you sang this sung was amazing. Keep up the good work. May God bless you more.”

Another fan Nijhum Chowdhury said: “Happy to see youngsters singing this kind of songs again. What a God-gifted family! I don't know what did the dislikers thought when they pressed the dislike button! Maybe they wanted to see a body showing item song of any Bollywood dancer. RIP to their musical sense.”

Daradwa was originally sung by the distinguished Pakistani singer Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. Ustad Salamat Ali’s family was of professional musicians from the Sham Chaurasi Gharana (home or school) in Hoshiarpur.
