Master City Gujranwala owner booked on charges of fraud

The owner of Master City housing scheme Sheikh Maqsood Iqbal Tuesday was booked under charges of fraud in Gujranwala, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The case was filed on the complaint of Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) representative Mirza Shahzaman.

It was stated that Sheikh Maqsood forged the ownership of mortgaged plots and sold them.

The residents of Master City were also not provided basic facilities including electricity, gas, sewage and water supply as promised.
